Arthur J. Messineo III

Arthur J. Messineo, III is a founding member of Messineo Law

Mr. Messineo specializes in insurance fraud litigation. Prior to founding the firm, he was the managing partner of a law firm and the Supervising Attorney and Location Chair for the New Jersey law office of a national law firm. Arthur has handled insurance fraud/special investigation unit insurance investigations involving multiple parties and corporations. He has prepared numerous declaratory judgment actions and complex Orders to Show Cause as well as settlement agreements. He has acted as liaison for corporate counsel of a major insurance company overseeing several other law firms throughout New Jersey on the handling of large and complex insurance fraud lawsuits.

He has successfully obtained judgments, settlements, and restitution in excess of $8,000,000 against individuals and entities involved in staged accident rings and auto body shop operation rings.

Arthur has lectured on insurance fraud issues for the New Jersey Office of Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the New Jersey Special Investigators Association. Arthur has an AV preeminent attorney rating. He was nominated as one of Bergen County’s top lawyers featured in the 201 Magazine.

Arthur received his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton Law School in 1993.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Gettysburg College in 1990.

Arthur is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
